Tam Lin: Visuals

Illustrator CS4 & Flash CS4, January 2012

Role: Art and Design

Above you can view one of our first playtests for Tam Lin -- you can see our playtester running through the demo level we created to test mechanics. Also above are with various animations I've created so far for Janet. I was responsible for all visual development, some art asset integration (primarily creating and working with sprite sheets), and worked with my two partners on control designs. We're currently using Unity for this game and Wii-mote for the controls.

Tam Lin: Visual Development Prototype

Illustrator CS4 & Flash CS4, January 2012

Role: Everything (Art, Programming, Design)

A artistic prototype created as part of the concept art work I did for a partner project with Richard Emms. The project is going to be an interactive interpretation of the story of Tam Lin. I wanted to create a paper cut out look and the feeling of moving from layer to layer. To navigate the prototype use the left and right arrows to move left and right respectively, and the up and down arrows to navigate back and forth between the different paper layers. I coded and created all the art for this prototype. It's meant to be a rough demonstration of the visual look we'd like to have for the final game.
